Remarkable Roman Cages
For our DT Project this term we created prototypes of cages that could have been used to transport animals to the coliseum in Ancient Roman times (we did add a modern twist with an electrical circuit and a light).
We created the sides of the cage using cardboard. We had to do precise measurements so that the it fitted together perfectly. We then cut out our pieces using a craft knife.
We used a hacksaw to saw the wooden parts the correct length.
After that we used a glue gun to assemble the prototype.
