This term, Year 2 have been learning Amelia Earhart and her adventures around the globe. On her adventures she visited the tropical island of Papua New Guinea. As part of our Create project Year 2 have been preparing a traditional fruit salad from Papua New Guinea called Talautu using safe knife skills, such as the claw and bridge technique. We had a great time trying the pineapple and coconut!
