Having learnt about Mary Seacole and Florence Nightingale, Year 1 wanted to consider how they could show kindness to others. They decided that they wanted to be kind and look after animal, supporting our local PDSA in the process. They had a visit from Jungle Joe, who taught them about the importance of looking after animals. They then applied this knowledge to create their own Veterinary surgery! The finished the topic by sharing their wonderful work with their parent - they also received lanyards, badges and a trophy from PDSA as a massive thank you for the money there raised for the charity! Well done Year 1!
