Teaching in the Early Years is a challenging and skilful area of expertise. Supporting a child to learn through their play requires fantastic knowledge of their pupils, a solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and how this progresses into Year 1 and a lot of thought and consideration into carefully planned activities that engage and extend your child. Breaking the curriculum down into small steps of learning and knowing how to support each child in their own progression is crucial not only to your child's development but also in establishing a love of learning which will last their entire school career.
